LOGANVILLE, GA — The Walton County Sheriff's office shares incidents of interest with the public.
Here are some of the calls the sheriff's office handled recently in the Loganville area.
Thursday, October 13

Theft - Deputies responded to a residence in the area of Piney Grove Road to take a report of an unknown individual taking several items from the residence without authorization.
Arrest - Craig Rice was arrested at a residence in the area of Logan’s Run for an outstanding Battery Family Violence warrant out of Walton County.

Burglary - Deputies responded to a business in the area of Highway 81 to take a report of an unknown individual making forced entry into a storage unit on location and taking several items without authorization. Walton County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division handled the scene of the incident.
Wednesday, October 12
Arrest - Phillip Gunter was arrested at a residence in the area of Bullock Lane for Criminal Trespass.
Dispute - Deputies responded to a residence in the area of Logans Run to take a report of a dispute. Warrants taken on Craig Rice for Battery Family Violence, but fled the scene.
Fraud - Deputies responded to a residence in the area of Annslee Circle to take a report of fraud through Craigslist. Complainant reported to have received a fraudulent check to compensate for items they were selling on Craigslist.
Arrest - Kenneth Bunn and David McPherson were arrested at a residence in the area of Youth Monroe Road following a suspicious persons call. Kenneth Bunn was arrested for an outstanding Probation Violation and Failure to Appear warrants out of Walton County. David McPherson was arrested for outstanding Terroristic Threats, Harassment and Probation Violation warrants out of Walton County.
Tuesday, October 11
Extra Patrol - Extra patrol requested in the area of Acorn Way in reference to an unknown white van driving very slow and stopping on several occasions through the area in the early morning hours.
Citation - Citation was issued at a residence in the area of Highway 81 for Criminal Trespass and Disorderly Conduct following a dispute.
Safety Check - Walton County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a Safety Check in the area of Highway 20 and Ivory Road. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. No citations in reference to this Safety Check.
Arrest in reference to Saftey Check - Shaun Bryson was arrested for Driving on Suspended License. Matthew Clark was arrested for Driving on Suspended License
Monday, October 10
Harassing Calls - Deputies responded to a residence in the area of Bullock Bridge Road to take a report of complainant being contacted by an unknown caller from a blocked number threatening them.
Extra Patrol - Extra patrol was requested in the area of Lee Peters Road in reference to an unknown individual placing a chair at complainant's bedroom window, advised it is possibly a peeping tom
Damage to Property - Deputies responded to the area of Highway 81 in reference to an unknown motorist in a work truck running complainant off the road causing damage to their vehicle.
Vehicle Accident - Deputies responded to a two vehicle accident in the area of Claude Brewer Road and Rabbit Farm Road. No life threatening injuries. Georgia State Patrol handled the scene of the accident.
