WCPS Providing Building Blocks for Parents
The Walton County Public School system is offering a program to guide parents on helping their students build good study habits. It will be Oct. 4 at Loganville Middle School.

is offering a free parent guide to parents and students in the county school system on how to help their students with studies at home.
The event will be held from 6:30 – 8 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 4, at The program is offered to parents of students in 4-5th grades as well as those in middle and high school. The students also are welcome to attend. Free childcare will be provided for parents.
According to information on the program, emphasis will also be placed on guiding students in how to use their time wisely.
The topics will include:
- Improving Your Study Habits
- Becoming Test-Smart
- Note Taking
- Organization skills
