Weekly Needs from SE Gwinnett Co-Op

Get Into Grayson shared a list on Facebook from the Southeast Gwinnett Cooperative Ministry of its weekly food pantry needs:

Perishable Items: Any! We have nothing in the refrigerators.

• Eggs
• Milk
• Butter
• Cheese
• Fruit
• Vegetables
• Meat

Non-Perishable:

• Vegetables (We do not need Green Beans or Whole Kernel Corn)
• Cream Corn
• Collards
• Turnip Greens
• Spinach
• Carrots
• Beets
• Sweet Potatoes/Yams
• Pumpkin
• Mixed (the kind you put in soup)

Protein:

• Dry Beans: Lentils, Kidney, Lima/Butter, Northern, Chick Pea, Mixed beans (like for soup) (We do not need Pinto.)
• Canned Meat: Chicken, Turkey, Ham, Beef, Salmon
• Canned Beans: Chili bean, Chick Pea, Northern, Lima/Butter, Re-fried Bean

Grains:

• Cereal
• Grits
• Whole Wheat Pasta (any except spaghetti)
• Bread. We have had a huge reduction in our donated bread so we could use a lot of bread!

One last thing

We need volunteers, if you have time in your day, during our hours listed below, please come and serve alongside of us. We do ask you to attend a volunteer orientation before you serve, it’s not scary, we simply tell you about what we do and ways you can help us serve our clients. Our next orientation is February 17th, they are always the third Tuesday of the month.
