• Eastman, Sandersville hospitals awarded federal funding (41nbc.com) — Jefferson Hospital in Louisville is among 18 rural Georgia hospitals set to receive about $187,500 in new federal funding aimed at keeping essential services open. The money, part of a nationwide HHS program backed by Sen. Jon Ossoff, can be used to retain doctors and nurses and support emergency and inpatient care at small community hospitals like Louisville's.
