Early voting is here—and your voice matters in the Public Service Commission race.

Early voting—sometimes called advance voting—allows Georgia voters to skip the crowds and vote on their own schedule in the weeks before Election Day, making participation easier and more accessible. Early voting starts May 27 through April 16. Absentee ballots are also an option for registered voters who prefer not to vote in person.

An important race on the ballot is the Public Service Commission (PSC), which has a direct impact on your daily life—from the cost of your electricity bill to how utility companies are regulated and held accountable. Yet, this critical race is often overlooked. Early voting is your opportunity to make it count.

Shelia Edwards, a Cobb County resident and Democratic candidate for Georgia Public Service Commission, District 5, brings a strong record of leadership, advocacy, and proven experience at the local, state, and federal levels. She has served in senior leadership roles within Georgia’s Democratic infrastructure, helping re-elect statewide leaders and elect new candidates across the state.

Shelia's campaign is focused on what matters most to Georgia families: lowering utility costs, holding large energy users—like data centers—accountable, and accelerating the transition to clean, affordable energy.

Shelia is running to help secure the critical third vote needed to change the direction of the PSC and put an end to constant rate hikes that are burdening hardworking Georgians. The decisions made by the PSC affect all of us—this is your opportunity to have a say.

By voting early, you can avoid long lines, vote on your schedule, and ensure your voice is heard without the stress of Election Day.

Make a plan today:
Check your early voting location by going to georgia.gov/vote-early-person. Bring your ID, and encourage your friends and family to do the same.

Don’t wait. Vote early. Vote Shelia Edwards for PSC.
