1 Dead, 1 Charged In Marietta Stabbing At Mobile Home Park

A man is facing murder charges after police say another man was stabbed to death in a mobile home community.

MARIETTA, GA — A man is facing homicide charges in connection with the recent stabbing death of a 31-year-old man in the 250 block of Clay Drive, Cobb County Police said Tuesday.

The deadly stabbing happened Sunday at a mobile home park. Police said when officers arrived, they found a man suffering from a stab wound while on the ground near a mobile home.

The man was taken to a local hospital, where police said he was later pronounced dead. Police identified the man as Alexis Lopez Hernandez of Smyrna.

Suspect Pedro De Jesus Gonzalez Martinez, 31, was arrested on charges of murder and aggravated assault in connection with the stabbing death, police said. Martinez was booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, police said.
