1 Dead After I-75 S Crash In Marietta
A person died Saturday in what police said was an unavoidable crash on Interstate-75 south near Terrell Mill Road.
MARIETTA, GA — A person died Saturday night after two cars crashed on Interstate 75 southbound at Terrell Mill Road, according to the Marietta Police Department.
A silver 2008 Toyota Nissan crashed into a grey 2012 Nissan Maxima around 10:18 p.m. The Maxima was stopped in the fourth lane from the left on I-75 south, police said.
The Nissan could not avoid the crash, police said.

The crash ended with both cars on the left shoulder of the interstate, police said.
The driver of the Nissan was taken to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital and died upon arrival, police said.

The name of the driver who died has not been released due to next-of-kin notification.
