1 Injured, 1 In Custody In Laundromat Shooting In Marietta
Police said a 51-year-old man was found at the laundromat with several gunshot wounds Thursday.

MARIETTA, GA — A 33-year-old Atlanta man accused of shooting another man Thursday afternoon at a Pat Mell Road laundromat is in police custody, Cobb County Police said Friday.
The shooting happened around 1:45 p.m. Police said when officers arrived, they found a 51-year-old man with several gunshot wounds. He was taken to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital for his injuries.

It is unknown what led to the shooting. Police initially said a person had been arrested, but about an hour after the news broke, police said no charges have been filed in the case.
"The shooter in this incident has not been charged. The investigation continues with extenuating circumstances being followed up on," police said shortly after 5 p.m.
