12 Marietta School Buses Now WIFI Hotspots, Will Park Around Town
Marietta City Schools announced on Thursday that a dozen school buses have been fitted with internet routers with 5G cellular connections.

MARIETTA, GA – Marietta City Schools announced on Thursday that a dozen school buses have been fitted with internet routers with 5G cellular connections during the school week, making it easier for students to connect remotely with their peers and teachers.
The buses will be parked at 12 locations around town from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Monday through Friday through the end of the school year. The buses will be parked at the following locations, providing hotspots for the surrounding areas:
- Laurel Hills Apt.
- Lassiter Dr. @ Halsey Dr.
- 555 Little St. Dwells Apt.
- Clifton Ridge Apt.
- Cluster Park
- Roosevelt Cir.
- 750 Franklin Gtwy. Dwells Apt.
- 2121 Windy Hills Rd. The Parc Apt.
- Booth Rd. Park
- Elizabeth Porter Park
- Laurel Park
- 07 Franklin Gtwy. Liberty Point Apt.
Marietta City Schools delivered 1,664 Chromebooks and 274 hotspots to families who completed the technology survey earlier this month in an effort to help students stay connected as the schools transitioned to remote learning.
