15 Struck With Bear Spray During Dispute At Cobb Hotel
Fifteen people had to be treated after someone dispersed bear spray during a dispute at a Cobb County hotel, police say.
ATLANTA, GA — Multiple people had to be treated after a dispute led to someone dispersing bear spray at a Cobb County hotel, police said Friday.
The incident happened around 6 p.m., June 20, in the 2800 block of Akers Mill Road, Cobb County Police said.
Two females engaged in a verbal dispute in a covered pool area at the hotel, and during the incident, police said one of them pulled out a canister of bear spray and discharged it.

A woman, her daughter and multiple others were struck with the spray, police said. Cobb County Fire evaluated and treated 15 people, police said.
The suspect then fled, and an arrest warrant against her was obtained, police said. She was not identified, and police did not say if the person has been apprehended.
