Woman Faces DUI Charge After Marietta Car Crash

Police said one passenger had life-threatening injuries while a second passenger had serious injuries.

MARIETTA, GA — A 20-year-old Dallas woman is facing charges after Marietta Police said a crash between two cars early Wednesday morning left two people injured.

The crash took place around 2:15 a.m. near Roswell Road and Cobb Parkway. Police said a Ford Explorer, driven by Hannah White, was speeding when trying to make a right turn at Roswell Road.

White did not maintain her lane and hit a Tesla 3 in the left rear passenger door, police said. The 41-year-old Mableton woman driving the Tesla was stopped at a traffic signal at Cobb Parkway.

One of the Tesla passengers, a 22-year-old Johns Creek woman, suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital for treatment, police said.

The other Tesla passenger, a 23-year-old Buford man, was taken to Wellstar with serious injuries, police said.

White had no injuries and was charged on suspicion of driving under the influence, serious injury by vehicle and other traffic-related charges, police said. She was taken to the Cobb County Adult Detention Center.
