2 Injured In Incident At Marietta School
A student is accused of harming themselves and a second person.
MARIETTA, GA — An altercation at JJ Daniell Middle School Tuesday led to two people being injured, according to the Cobb County School District and media reports.
The school system did not name the middle school but several media reports have identified the school as JJ Daniell.
A student is accused of causing harm to another person and themselves, school officials said in a prepared statement. The statement did not indicate if the other person was a student.

"This situation is being handled according to state law and district policies, including discipline and criminal charges. Students and staff are safe. As this is an ongoing investigation, we are unable to provide further details at this time," school officials said in the statement.
