4 Injured In Cobb Parkway Crash

The two-car crash near Cobb Parkway at Canton Road Connector shut down Cobb Parkway for around three hours Monday.

MARIETTA, GA — Four people were injured Monday afternoon in a multi-vehicle crash on Cobb Parkway at Canton Road Connector, police said.

The collision happened around 1:15 p.m. and involved a 2001 Honda Prelude and a 2021 GMC Sierra, Marietta police said.

According to police, the Prelude was making a U-turn at the intersection when the Sierra crossed its path.

All drivers and passengers were taken to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital with serious injuries, police said.

The crash caused the southbound lanes on Cobb Parkway to be closed for about three hours, police said.
