5 Cobb County Men Indicted On Gang, Aggravated Assault Charges: AG
According to the attorney general Wednesday, five men are indicted in connection with a June 2021 drive-by shooting.
ATLANTA, GA — Five Cobb County men were indicted on Oct. 13 on several gang charges relating to a June 2021 drive-by shooting in Marietta, according to Attorney General Chris Carr's office Wednesday.
According to the Atlanta-Journal Constitution, the shooting happened June 25, 2021, near Mulkey Road. The men are "accused of shooting from a car at four people inside of the Orchard Mills apartment complex," the outlet reported. There were no injuries.
James Daniels, Bryce Dowell, Nicholas Poole and Thomas Williams are accused of being members of 2Solid, a hybrid street gang connected to the Bloods, Carr said. Thomas White is accused of being a member of Good Product Team, Carr said.

All five men are being charged on suspicion of multiple counts of criminal damage to property in the first and second degrees and four counts of aggravated assault, Carr said.
Both charges carry a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison per count, Carr said.

In addition, the men are individually facing the following charges:
- White is currently serving prison sentences for unrelated charges connected to cases in Cobb and Douglas counties, Carr said. He is being charged on suspicion of eight counts of violating the Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act.
- Daniels is being charged on suspicion of 22 counts of violating the Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act, along with possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of handgun under the age of 18 years and carrying a weapon without a license, Carr said.
- Dowell is being charged on suspicion of 20 counts of violating the Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act, along with a firearm possession charge and carrying a weapon without a license, Carr said.
- Poole is being charged on suspicion of 24 counts of violating the Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act, one count of possession of a firearm by convicted felon during crime, along with multiple gun charges, Carr said.
- Williams is being charged on eight counts of violating the Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act, Carr said.
“This is yet another achievement in our ongoing fight to rid our state of gang activity,” Carr said in a news release. “No matter where they are operating, we will use all resources at our disposal to ensure that those who engage in these violent acts are held accountable and our communities are made safer. We are proud of our partnerships with local law enforcement, and we will continue working together to protect our fellow Georgians."
