59th Miss Cobb County Pageant

Applications are being accepted for the 59th annual Miss Cobb County Scholarship Pageant set for the Jennie T. Anderson Theatre, Cobb County Civic Center, Marietta on August 13th at 7 p.m.  Over $30,000 in cash scholarships and prizes will be awarded.  Contestants must be single, 17-23 years old and a high school graduate.  Judging categories are interview, talent, physical fitness and evening gown.  The deadline to enter is July 10th.  The Miss Cobb County Pageant is the number one cash scholarship pageant in the Miss Georgia system.  The Miss Cobb Pageant is a nonprofit organization composed entirely of community volunteers.  For more information on being a contestant, pageant volunteer or business sponsor, contact Gene Phillips, 770-435-6378, misscobbcounty@yahoo.com   The new Miss Cobb County will be crowned by the reigning Miss Cobb County, Brooke Doss, a senior at Kennesaw State University.
