After Gunman Fires Shots, Marietta Neighbors Ordered To Stay Home
Cobb County Police ordered neighbors to shelter at home after a gunman fired shots Tuesday.
MARIETTA, GA — After seven hours, Marietta residents are now able to leave their homes. Cobb County police ordered neighbors to shelter inside Tuesday after a shooting.
A gunman had barricaded himself inside a home on Kingsley Drive after firing shots inside and outside, according to police. No injuries have been reported.
They tweeted Tuesday morning that the gunman was still actively shooting in the area. SWAT assisted with negotiating with the gunman. The neighborhood was closed to all traffic.
