Allstate agency owners earn $14,000 grant for Hedera Foundation
The Allstate Foundation grant to support nonprofit's work to raise awareness about domestic violence and human trafficking

FAYETTEVILLE, Ga., Sept. 11th, 2018 – Sixteen Allstate agency owners and personal financial representatives from the Fayetteville area recently came together to secure a $14,000 Allstate Foundation Helping Hands® Grant to benefit the Hedera Foundation Inc. The grant will support the Hedera Foundation Inc.’s mission to take action in and around Fayetteville against domestic violence and human trafficking.
At the community event, Allstate volunteers provided financial empowerment information on an expert panel, which also included mental health professionals, domestic violence survivors, law enforcement officers and representatives from domestic violence shelters. Additional Allstate volunteers participated in breakout sessions, coordinated event set up and collected donated items for domestic violence survivors. The Hedera Foundation Inc. will use the $14,000 grant to further its efforts of ending abuse in the community.
The Allstate volunteers are among thousands of agency owners, personal financial representatives and licensed sales professionals around the country working to improve communities by giving their time for the causes they care about most.
