Dr. Iatridis is the Medical Director of the Georgia Lung Sleep Disorders Center

July 13, 2012 (Cobb County) — Georgia Lung Associates physician Dr. Aris Iatridis was recently named a Top Doctor in Atlanta magazine’s July 2012 Top Doctors issue. Dr. Iatridis practices at the Georgia Lung Center at Cobb (3820 Medical Park Dr, Austell, GA 30106) and Kennestone (400 Tower Road, Ste. 200, Marietta, GA 30060).

Dr. Iatridis has been with Georgia Lung Associates since 1993. He is currently the medical director of the Georgia Lung Sleep Disorders Center, and formerly served as chief of staff at Wellstar Cobb Hospital.

Dr. Iatridis is board certified in sleep disorders medicine, critical care medicine, pulmonary medicine and internal medicine. He received his medical degree from Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, and completed his internship and residency at the University of Minnesota Hospitals in Minneapolis.

He completed fellowships in pulmonary care, sleep disorders and critical care medicine at the University of Minnesota Hospitals in Minneapolis.

Dr. Iatridis is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians, the American Thoracic Society and the American Sleep Disorders Association.

Additionally, Dr. Iatridis spends his time consulting as a medical expert for the airline, trucking and occupational health industries. Dr. Iatridis most recently has worked with the airline industry to create a pilot screening plan for sleep disorders at the Georgia Lung Sleep Disorders Center.
