MARIETTA, GA (September 29, 2011) -- New York Times bestselling author, Mary Kay Andrews, shared insights on her success since her days as a local reporter for the Marietta Journal and also the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. She mused about her past discussions with fellow newspaper reporters on what they’d do as a dream job if they weren’t reporters. Now, with 2 NY Times bestsellers and 10 critically acclaimed mysteries, anyone can see that her dream came true.
Ms. Andrews was the featured speaker at the monthly “Booked for Lunch” event hosted by the Cobb Library Foundation. Friday’s luncheon at The Georgian Club was another sell-out, with more than 130 people attending this event sponsored by First Landmark Bank. When Renee White of First Landmark saw the list of authors for the Booked for Lunch series, she quickly moved to secure this sponsorship.
