Annual Menorah Lighting on Marietta Square was wonderful

Over two hundred people attended the second CNT Annual Menorah Lighting Friday, December 30, 2016 at Glover Park on the Marietta Square.

Over two hundred people attended the second CNT Annual Menorah Lighting Friday, December 30, 2016 at Glover Park on the Marietta Square. The crowd enjoyed hot chocolate, dreidel games and each child received a book from PJ Library. Local dignitaries spoke briefly extending words of holiday cheer. Rabbi Joseph Prass of Congregation Ner Tamid led the candle lighting service with traditional prayers as the Menorah was illuminated by seven children selected from the audience.Traditional Hanukkah music was played as the diverse crowd enjoyed the camaraderie of the holiday celebration.
