Art of Comedy, Jammin' Figure Drawing

1. Join the Friday for with Jim Gossett. There will be two shows, the first at 6:30 p.m. (social hour at 6 p.m.) and the second at 8:30 p.m. (social hour at 8 p.m.).
2. Join from 9 p.m. to midnight for a Free Jammin' Figure Drawing Friday. Characters in costume in settings will be on stage. Artists bring supplies (or $5 to use the art center's) and create their own version of the characters by sketching, drawing, painting, etc. At the same time musicians can bring their instruments to jam (or $5 to use the center's).
You can bring a snack or drink (alcohol is okay) to create a small buffet. You can also paint your own ideas on canvas or sculpt with clay. If you don't want to create, just come to admire the work of others, chat with friends, meet new people, and enjoy the creative setting. Call 770-425-9660 for more information.

3. The starts Saturday at 6:30 p.m. at the Doubletree Hotel-Marietta. The keynote speaker is Rev. Dr. F. Keith Slaughter. Entertainment will include Brooke "Viosocalist" Alford, Artist of the Violin.
