Bicyclist Injured In Marietta Crash
A man was riding a bicycle when he was hit by a car in Marietta, police say.
MARIETTA, GA — A bicyclist was injured after being hit by a car Monday evening on Powder Springs Street at Bellemeade Drive, Marietta Police said Tuesday.
The crash happened around 8:30 p.m. Police said a 38-year-old Marietta man was riding a bicycle west on Powder Springs when he was hit by a 54-year-old Powder Springs resident driving a 2008 Toyota Yaris.
The man suffered serious injuries and was taken to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital, police said. His condition was not immediately known.

The driver of the Yaris remained at the scene and cooperated, police said. Officers did not reveal if charges were filed.
