If you are planning to update the look of your home but are concerned about spending too much money. The high-end designer look is still possible on a budget using creativity, and by spending a little more time looking through home decorating magazines for unique ideas. Don't forget to search the web for good ideas and good deals.  I am going to give you ideas to give you the “high-end” look without the price.

The easiest way to achieve a high-end look without spending a lot of money is to hire a decorator who will take you to Americas Mart or other wholesale stores in the Atlanta area. I can recommend other store locations that you can go to that will still save you money.  You need to make a plan to discover what your priorities are concerning decorating.  If you are happy with your existing furniture, you can change the whole look of your room by changing your pictures, artwork, and accessories.   There are many places to buy pictures and accessories in Marietta, Kennesaw and the Atlanta area.  You might be surprised to know that fabric
stores like Decorating Mart, Fringe Benefits, JoAnn Fabrics, and Hancock Fabrics
can have fantastic sales on quality pictures and accessories.  Go check out the stores and see if they have your decorating style.  If the pictures are not on sale at the time ask when they are planning to have a sale.  Always look in the clearance sections of every store.   Furniture stores also carry pictures, but their prices are usually higher.  Other stores to look at are Home Goods, Tuesday Morning, and Hobby Lobby who have nice quality pictures, and Garden Ridge and Old Time Pottery have a good variety of pictures and accessories at good prices.  These two stores have a variety of products at both low and high quality.  Big Lots also has a variety of lower to higher end pictures and accessories.

When you go to these stores, take samples of your color palette with you for the rooms you are planning to update or redesign.  Having the colors with you will help you to avoid making color choice mistakes as you match your artwork to your color palette.
