Homework battles. Forgotten assignments. Morning chaos. Sound familiar?
On Tuesday, March 18, at 6:30 p.m. The Walker School will host an adults-only workshop with clinical psychologist Dr. Cheryl Chase, who specializes in helping children develop the executive functioning skills that make everyday life smoother, at home and at school.
Executive functioning skills are the practical abilities that help children plan ahead, stay organized, manage their time, control impulses, and follow through. The good news? These skills can be strengthened — and parents play a powerful role.
Dr. Chase will share clear, actionable strategies parents can use to help children build greater independence, responsibility and confidence. Whether your child struggles with organization and follow-through or simply needs tools to manage increasing academic demands, you will leave with ideas you can put into practice immediately.
The event is open to the public. Space is limited, so please RSVP to reserve your seat. CLICK HERE to learn more about the evening.
The event will take place in the Bowden Library at The Walker School, 700 Cobb Parkway North in Marietta. The event and parking are free.
