Annual Mother’s Day Gem and Mineral Show. May 8th thru 10th, Cobb County Civic Center, 548 South Marietta Pkwy, Marietta, GA. Admission is free. Starts Friday, May 8th 10am-6pm, Saturday, May 9th 10am-6pm and Sunday, May 10th 10am-5pm. There will be 35 vendors selling minerals, fossils, jewelry and related artisan creations. Grab bags full of minerals and fossils are available for $4.00. Be sure to sign up for the door prizes which are given away several times per hour. Also, there will be a silent auction every 2 hours throughout the day with amazing items up for bid. Demonstrations and interactive classes happen throughout the weekend.
