Dining in the Dark Casual Dinner Party to Support Georgia's Blind and Visually Impaired

Vision Rehabilitation Services of Georgia (VRS) invites the community to experience an evening with a purpose at Dining in the Dark, Tuesday, October 20, 2026, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at StillFire Brewing in Smyrna.

The casual fundraising event will bring together community members, local businesses and VRS supporters for an evening of food, drinks and fun while raising awareness and critical funds for programs serving Georgians who are blind or living with significant vision impairment.

General admission tickets are $75 per person and include dinner and drinks. Guests will also have an opportunity to bid on a fabulous selection of silent auction items, including donated merchandise, gift certificates, experiences and other special packages from businesses and friends throughout the community.

“Dining in the Dark is an opportunity to introduce more people to the work of VRS while enjoying a fun evening together,” said Jen Williams, Executive Director of Vision Rehabilitation Services of Georgia. “Every ticket purchased, auction bid and sponsorship helps us continue giving people experiencing vision loss the skills, tools and confidence they need to live more independently.”

VRS is also offering a limited number of corporate sponsorship opportunities for businesses that want to support the event while receiving community visibility and recognition.

Sponsorship opportunities include an exclusive $2,500 Presenting Sponsorship, a $1,500 Food Sponsorship and a $1,000 Bar Sponsorship. Sponsors receive a variety of promotional benefits based on level, including event signage, social media and website visibility, recognition during the event program and complimentary event tickets.

Businesses and community members can also support Dining in the Dark by donating merchandise, gift cards, services or experiences for the silent auction.
