Chatt Tech Students Thank Donors For Support

Students were able to call donors and express thanks and gratitude for their donations to the scholarship fund.

From Chattahoochee Tech: Student scholarship recipients at Chattahoochee Technical College thanked their donors in a thank-a- thon phone call event held on Tuesday, Nov. 14 and Wednesday, Nov. 15 at the Chattahoochee Tech Marietta Campus. Through this event, organized by the Chattahoochee Tech Foundation, these students were able to call more than 100 donors simply to express personal gratitude for their support.

“This is the second year we’ve held the student scholarship thank-a- thon,” said CTC Director for Alumni and Annual Giving Stephanie Hubbell. “We have received very positive feedback from donors about these calls in which the students offer them a sincere and honest thank you.” The Chattahoochee Tech Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization designed to support the mission of Chattahoochee Technical College. The Foundation partners with businesses, alumni and community leaders to make higher education an affordable reality for students.

“Thanks to the generosity of our donors, the Chattahoochee Tech Foundation awarded $80,650 in scholarship funds to well deserving students in Fiscal Year 2017, as well as more than $11,000 in emergency tuition grants and emergency assistance,” said Hubbell. “We are very thankful for all of our donors and the positive impact they’re making in the lives of our students.” For more information, visit www.ChattahoocheeTech.edu.
