- District Attorney Flynn Broady's office announced that a Cobb County man has been sentenced to five years in prison after pleading guilty to shooting at a man and his family at a Vinings apartment complex last July. The defendant, Javan Isles, was charged with aggravated assault and possession of a firearm while committing a felony. The charges stemmed from an incident on Jul. 5, where Isles shot at another individual. The victim was reportedly targeted by someone driving a black SUV and told police that it was the second time he had been fired at that day. While no one was hurt, Isles was given a five-year prison sentence and a seven-year probation period by Superior Court Judge Sonja Brown. (Yahoo News)
