Cobb Dad Buys Minivan, Wins Sports Car

Carl Hutchins, Jr. was awarded a 2016 Chevrolet Camaro SS in the Delta Community Credit Union Sweepstakes.

From Delta Community Credit Union: Delta Community Credit Union (www.DeltaCommunityCU.com), Georgia’s largest credit union with more than $5.6 billion in assets and its online car-buying service provider, Carvana, today awarded a 2016 Chevrolet Camaro SS to Carl Hutchins, Jr., of Powder Springs. Hutchins’ name was automatically entered in the Delta Community-Carvana $20K Car Giveaway Sweepstakes in February when he obtained a Delta Community vehicle loan to buy a minivan. After his name was randomly selected in the sweepstakes drawing Hutchins was given his choice of vehicle from Carvana’s inventory.

“This sweepstakes is one way we promote products and services that our members say are important to them,” said Delta Community CEO Hank Halter. “It’s a good way to publicize the superior value our members receive on loans and other financial products that help them lead healthy financial lives.” Carvana is an online dealership that sells and finances previously owned vehicles. Customers may pick up their new vehicle from one of the company’s car “vending machines,” or have it delivered to their home or other location. Hutchins took delivery of his Camaro at Delta Community’s Vinings branch. “I’ve banked with Delta Community Credit Union for years, so I felt comfortable getting a car loan here,” said Hutchins. “During the process I was told about the sweepstakes, but I never thought I would win.
When they drew my name I thought, ‘Wow! Now I have a family car and a sports car!’ Choosing a vehicle was the hardest part, because Delta Community made everything else easy.” Pictured in the attached photos are Delta Community CEO Hank Halter, sweepstakes winner CarlHutchins, Jr. and his daughter Mia.
