Cobb Firefighter Dies At 43 On Work Anniversary

MARIETTA, GA — A Cobb County firefighter with 18 years of service to the county has died, according to Cobb County Fire and Emergency Services Tuesday. He was 43-years-old.

Firefighter Julian Daniels died Tuesday on his anniversary with the fire department. He joined Cobb Fire on Feb. 28, 2005.

His cause of death is unknown.

"Please keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers. Details will be released as they become available. Our hearts are heavy as our department mourns the loss of our brother who served the citizens of Cobb County for 18 years," fire officials said in a statement.
