Cobb To Host First Record Restriction And Job Expo
Cobb County DA's office and Solicitor's Office are holding their first joint record restriction and job expo event on Saturday, Feb. 29.
COBB COUNTY, GA — The Cobb County District Attorney’s Office and the Cobb Solicitor’s Office will hold their first joint record restriction and job expo event on Saturday, Feb. 29.
The goal of this event is to assist those eligible to have certain arrests restricted from their criminal history. Although registration has reached capacity, people are encouraged to check back to see if any new slots have become available, organizers say.
Applicants must meet the following requirements to register:

- Arrested in Cobb County
- Not convicted
- Completed a pretrial diversion program
- Acquitted
- Completed first offender
- Completed conditional discharge
Pre-registration is required. Limited to the first 250 applicants. Attendees must have a valid Georgia or US photo ID. The next records restriction event will be Saturday, June 27, 2020. Email 360recordrestriction@cobbcounty.org with any questions.

All are welcome to attend the Job Fair and Resource Expo at the Riverside Epicenter, 135 Riverside Parkway SW, in Austell. The event is from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
