He drover her a half-mile away to Banberry Road, where he made a bed of blankets in the back of her van then raped her, the warrant says. It says he drove a short distance to 180 Cobb Parkway, near the Marietta Trade Center, and raped her again, then drove to the parking lot of the Hong Kong Buffet on South Marietta Parkway, where he raped her a third time.
Head and the woman then reportedly walked into a Texaco gas station near the restaurant, where the woman locked herself in a bathroom, yelled to a store clerk for help and called 911.
Head escaped in the woman's van, leading Marietta Police officers on a chase before crashing his victim's van into a Toyota Acura on South Cobb Drive, the AJC reports, quoting police. Video of the chase shows Head almost crashing the van head-on into an officer.
Responding to the AJC, Marietta Police declined to say whether Head is a suspect in any other crimes currently being investigated, saying that more information about his case may be released later.
He is being held at Cobb County Jail without bond.
