All Clear Given At Dobbins Air Force Base After Police Probe

MARIETTA, GA — The all clear has been given after authorities responded Wednesday to Dobbins Air Force Reserve Base due to a suspicious vehicle at the base's Barclay Gate.

Cobb County Police said there were no injuries in the incident. Officers first responded around 1:30 p.m. to the base, telling Patch they urged people to avoid the area during the probe.

The public affairs office at Dobbins told Patch officers were dispatched to the Barclay Gate near Highway 280.

Cobb County Fire and Emergency Services said units were on scene around 3:30 p.m. assisting with detection equipment.

Police told Patch there were no criminal charges in the case.
