MABLETON, GA — Pebblebrook High School was locked down for a short time on Wednesday after a weapon was found on a student.Principal Travis Joshua sent a letter to families regarding the incident later in the afternoon."This morning, during first period class, a student reported to an adult about seeing another student with a weapon," Joshua said. "We alerted the school resource officer who brought in additional officers to assist with the investigation.       "During their investigation, officers questioned several students. A weapon was found on one student. He was taken into custody."Joshua said all students were held in their first period class during the investigation.
