Cobb Schools To Host Transition Resource Fair For Students With Disabilities
The Cobb Schools Transition Resource Fair is scheduled for 5-6:30 p.m. on Tuesday inside the Osborne High School cafeteria.
COBB COUNTY, GA — On the heels of the Community Connection Resource Fair, Cobb Schools is once again hosting an event to support families of students with disabilities. This face-to-face event will provide families of students with disabilities the opportunity to interact with a variety of community resources that can provide services now and in the future.
The Cobb Schools Transition Resource Fair is scheduled for 5-6:30 p.m. on Tuesday inside the Osborne High School cafeteria. Some of the providers attending the event offer services to students while they are still in school, but many offer post-secondary services in the areas of employment, education, job training, and recreation. Although all are welcome, the Transition Resource Fair is tailored to students with disabilities, ages 14 and above, and their families.
Some vendors attending the Cobb even include The Tommy Nobis Center, Georgia Tech’s Excel Program, Briggs and Associates, Special Needs Cobb, Goodwill, Ken’s Krew, and Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency.
