Cobb Students Accepted To Military Academies
A dozen students from the 11th Congressional District have been accepted at Army, Navy, Air Force and the merchant marine academy.

MARIETTA, GA — At least a dozen Cobb County students have been accepted into the nation's military service academies.
U.S. Rep. Barry Loudermilk, whose district includes much of Cobb, announced the names of 12 students who have earned the honor.
"It’s an honor and a privilege to be accepted into one of our nation’s esteemed academies," Loudermilk said in a news release. "Each of you, through your hard work and determination, now have a chance to join an elite list of individuals who have had an immeasurable impact on our nation and the world. I know you will represent Georgia’s 11th District with diligence and pride and I look forward to celebrating your accomplishments in the future, as you become America’s next leaders."
