Congratulations, Wheeler Grad Paul Goodloe, Jr.
Before this year's seniors head on to that next step in their lives, we want to take a moment to let their stars shine here on Patch.
MARIETTA, GA — The high school seniors of 2021 have had an experience like no other in a century — a year upended by a pandemic and by lockdowns that kept them from enjoying many of the activities that previous seniors have taken for granted.
Patch hopes to help make it up to those seniors by giving them a special sendoff. We asked parents and other family members to pay tribute to this year’s grads using a special submission form so we can publish those tributes one by one.
Wheeler student Paul Goodloe, Jr. will graduate this year.

Plans after graduation: University of Colorado, Boulder
Accomplishments: PJ (as Paul is affectionately known by family and friends), was a member of the Wheeler marching band for three years. He was the Sousaphone section leader during his junior and senior years at Wheeler. As a freshman, PJ was on the Wheeler Robotics team, the Circuit Runners. It is significant to note that this Robotics team was extremely competitive and won many awards. More than all of those, PJ was known among his high school classmates as a caring, compassionate person.
