Domestic Incident Leads To Hourslong SWAT Standoff In Cobb
A suspect is in custody following the overnight incident.
POWDER SPRINGS, GA — A person was taken into custody following an hourslong SWAT standoff in Cobb County Thursday night, according to police and news reports.
Cobb County Police told Patch the SWAT team was called to Robertswood Drive in Powder Springs following a domestic incident involving juveniles.
Police said a suspect is in custody, and there were no injuries.

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the incident started Thursday night and led to a SWAT standoff that lasted more than five hours and concluded Friday morning.
