Drugs, Weapons, Cash Confiscated During Cobb Traffic Stop
Police pulled over a vehicle going more than 90 mph in a 45 mph zone. That traffic stop led to a lot more trouble for the men in the car.

MARIETTA, GA -- Two men were arrested Tuesday after being pulled over for speeding and after police found weapons, cash and drugs in their car. The Cobb County police department said the officer made a traffic stop on a speeding vehicle on Dallas Highway near East Paulding Drive.
Police said the vehicle was traveling 91 mph in a 45 mph zone. During the course of the traffic stop, police said some illegal narcotics were observed in the lap of the driver. The driver, 24-year-old Darien Knight of Powder Springs, was arrested and removed from the car.
The other passenger, 25-year-old Ian Copeland of Dallas, GA, was also removed from the vehicle and subsequently arrested as well for possession of illegal narcotics.

In addition to the numerous illegal narcotics, officers also recovered a loaded pistol, a machete, a digital scale, and a large sum of cash.
