Early Voting Begins Tuesday in Cobb Runoff

Cobb County, GA -- Early voting begins Tuesday in the July 26 runoff election.

The most notable race is between incumbent Cobb Commission chairman Tim Lee, who is facing a runoff challenge from Mike Boyce.

Lee is widely seen as the architect of the new Atlanta Braves stadium in Smyrna, a deal that critics charge was negotiated in secret and without public input.

Cobb residents can vote early from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays through July 22 at Cobb Elections, 736 Whitlock Avenue in Marietta.
