Arts & Entertainment

Cherokee Heights Arts Festival 2012

Cherokee Heights, one of Marietta's oldest neighborhoods, is hosting its 4th annual Cherokee Heights Arts Festival. There will be arts, food, and FREE family entertainment.

Join us for the day. Artists will be displaying a variety of art, all hand-made using wood, metal, paper, fabric, stones or mixed media; there will be paintings, graphic arts, woodworking, metal works, sculpture, birdhouses, photography, soap, fabric art, ornaments, books, jewelry, baked goods and more.

LIVE music begins at 10am with The Emerson Drummers.  Using traditional West African drums, the Emerson Drummers generate a powerful energy with rhythms and songs handed down by master drummers. Following them will be Symphony on the Square players, the Emerson Guitar Group, and others. Also appearing will be Bert Reeves, whose guitar will inspire you to sing along with your favorite rock covers.
