Facebook Town Hall: Marietta To Host Tuesday

The City of Marietta has scheduled a Tuesday Facebook town hall. City Council will discuss 2020 projects that could be funded with SPLOST.

MARIETTA, GA — The City of Marietta has scheduled a Facebook town hall for Tuesday. Through a live stream residents will be able to see display boards and even pose questions to Mayor Steve Tumlin and city and Cobb County staff members regarding a list of projects.

The town hall live stream can be viewed from 3 - 4 p.m. on the city’s Facebook page. They will discuss its Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax, 2022 SPLOST, project list.

Following the live stream, the council will hold a public hearing at 4 p.m. in the Council Chambers to hear from citizens about the 2022 SPLOST.
