Glover Park Concert Series

Prime will kick off the 2012 Glover Park Concert Series Friday, April 27, at 8 p.m. in and around the park in Marietta Square. You can reserve a front-row seat online beginning Monday, April 2, at 8 a.m.

• May 25: Still Swinging (Big Band)
• June 29: Chine Grove (Doobie Brothers Tribute Band)
• July 27: The Fabulous Expressions (Beach)
• Aug. 24: Yacht Rock Schooner (Party Rock)
• Aug. 25: GSO Jazz (Jazz)
• Sept. 28: Atlanta Pleasure Band (R & B)

There are a limited number of tables, which cost $45 for a table of six and $55 for a table of eight.

Blankets and lawn chairs may be set up in the park after 4 p.m. Personal tables are not permitted in the park but may be set up on North Park Square after 6 p.m.

A table, blanket-decorating contest is held before each concert. The winner takes home a picnic basket full of goodies. Registration is not required.
