Marietta, GA. (February 24, 2016) – Project 82 Kenya announced today they will host their second annual Golf Tournament benefiting their infant rescue ministry in Kenya. The golf tournament will be held on Monday, May 2, 2016 at Pinetree Country Club located in Kennesaw, GA. The Platinum sponsor of the tournament is Merrill Lynch.
Breakfast at the course and registration will begin at 7:30am, followed by a shotgun start at 9am. Participants will be entered in various competitions held in conjunction with the tournament, including hole-in-one, 60 ft putt, longest drive and closest to the pin contests. Following the tournament, there will be an awards ceremony and reception. An online auction for event tickets, weekend packages and entertainment experiences will also be held, along with raffle prize drawings. The online auction bidding will open mid-April.
“I am thrilled that we are approaching our second annual golf tournament fundraiser,” said Project 82 Kenya’s executive director Anita Colley. “Businesses and individuals who are sponsoring our event and golfers who participate will directly impact the orphans we serve. Proceeds from the tournament will go directly to our programs in Kenya. I want to thank all the sponsors involved in this year’s event and for making it possible.”
A limited number of golf sponsorships are still available. Please contact Gayle Haden for more information.
