Gunfire Outside Marietta's Andretti: Police
Marietta police are looking for the suspect who fired shots outside of a local arcade.
MARIETTA, GA — Marietta police are asking for help after a shooting occurred Sunday outside of Andretti Indoor Karting & Games. Police said it was an attempted robbery.
A group of people exited their vehicle that was parked in the Andretti lot, reported the Marietta Daily Journal. One of the passengers approached a man walking toward the business and pointed a gun demanding his jewelry and money.
When the man refused, the suspect fired off two rounds, but missed, reported the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The man victim pulled out his gun and ran into the arcade.

Police said no shots were fired inside the facility and no injuries were reported.
Marietta police say the suspect vehicle appears to have damage to the passenger side and the front right tire has been replaced with a spare/temporary wheel.
