Harrison Tennis Center Hosts Nation's Top Players

1. The Harrison Tennis Center hosts the USTA National Open for boys and girls ages 16 and younger this weekend and attracts top players from around the country. If you are a tennis fan and wish to see some of the stars of tomorrow, this is the place to be this weekend. Past participants have included several players who are currently playing on the professional tour, including rising star and local Melanie Oudin.

2. 's Cross Country Teams are holding a Garage and Estate Sale from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the high school today. Money raised will help fund the teams travel to meets across the state. The boys team has won the 5AAAAA region three times while the girls team was the 2010 runner-up. Go Blue Devils!

3. If you visit the Marietta Square Farmers Market and the Marietta Square Artist Market this morning, look for Marietta Patch! Both run from 9:30 a.m. to noon today.

4. Also at the Square, there will be a walk from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. to benefit the Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance.
