John Graham has joined Sterling Risk Advisors (www.sterlingriskadvisors.com) as a Principal. Graham brings to the firm more than 40 years of expertise in risk management, property and casualty insurance. In his role at Sterling, he will continue to focus primarily on the construction industry, providing solutions and consulting services as a client advocate.
Previously, Graham was with the Graham-Naylor Agency, which merged with Sterling Risk Advisors in September 2013. He established the agency in 1975 and built a successful and respected independent insurance and surety bonding agency with locations in Marietta and Columbus, Georgia.

Graham started his professional insurance career shortly after graduating from Georgia Tech with a Bachelor of Service degree in Management. He has been a speaker and co-sponsor for professional seminars, a guest speaker at Southern Tech, and contributed as an active member in many construction trade groups including The Associated Builders and Contractors, Associated General Contractors, and the Georgia Utility Contractors Association.
He attended Lakeside High School and The Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech). He and his wife Cheryl currently reside in East Cobb County, where they raised two daughters and now enjoy five grandchildren.

Graham is an active member of Johnson Ferry Baptist Church in Marietta, GA and has served on its finance committee. Graham supports a number of local charitable organizations, including Samaritan’s Purse, Right from the Heart Ministries, the Center for Family Resources, Atlanta Community Ministries and The Georgia Center for Child Advocacy. His personal interests include golf, fly fishing, hiking, swimming, snow skiing and travel.
