KSU's Customer Service Specialist Certificate Program to Start April 12

Program provides a strong foundation of the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in the customer service industry

Kennesaw State University’s College of Continuing and Professional Education has announced the start of its upcoming course, Customer Service Specialist Certificate, on Tuesday, April 12. The program provides a strong foundation of the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in the customer service industry.

In this program, students will learn how to deliver exceptional customer service in a broad range of customer contact jobs. Throughout the course students will learn how to contribute to the service culture, encourage customer loyalty and how to properly service in a diverse world. This certificate will allow students to improve their customer service skills, enhance their skill set, improve productivity and increase their organization’s success.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment of customer service representatives is projected to grow 13% by 2022. “With the increase of technology, human interaction with customers becomes all the more important,” said Julie Crews, program instructor. “Whether it relates to retaining customers, serving your audience, or turning inquiries from potential customers into sales, good customer service is now one of the central factors in organizational success”

The 45-hour certificate program is ideal for retail and hospitality professionals, business owners, and people with good motivational, interpersonal, problem-solving and communication skills.
