The Chattahoochee Tech Foundation received a $2K donation to benefit the college's Student Leadership Academy.
From Chattahoochee Technical College: The LGE Community Credit Union in Marietta recently donated $2,000 to the Chattahoochee Tech Foundation in support of the Student Leadership Academy – a program designed to provide a select group of students with workplace skills while also giving them a vested knowledge about leadership development.
“At LGE Community Credit Union we are heavily involved in our community, committed to our local schools and dedicated to the financial well-being of our members,” said Vicki Aghajanian, Business Development and Community Relations Director for LGE Community Credit Union. “We are passionate about giving back to our community, and by supporting Chattahoochee Tech’s Student Leadership Academy through the foundation, we know that we are helping to build the future leaders in our area.”
The Student Leadership Academy consists of five sessions every semester. Each session is designed to facilitate a better understanding of leadership qualities and principles. Sessions include establishing a personality and leadership profile, teambuilding and conflict resolution, communication skills, and community leadership and networking.
