- The Cobb Planning Commission tabled a vote on a proposed development on the site of a historic East Cobb log cabin. The proposal would place 20 homes on the 13-acre site currently occupied by the 19th-century log cabin. (Marietta Daily Journal via Yahoo News)
- After a dog was shot on his Cobb County property, the owner says neighborhood violence has gotten out of hand. (WSB Atlanta)
- The City of Marietta okayed a developer's proposal for a new public plaza on Church Street near the square. The proposal also includes plans to give the street a makeover. (MDJOnline.com)
